Honour this judgment: Scott Jamieson / Bruce Jamieson / Jamieson Homes & Renovations Ltd.

In 2007, we built our dream home in Wickham, New Brunswick, and contracted Jamieson Homes & Renovations Ltd., of 1512 Route 850, Kiersteadville, N.B. owned by Scott Jamieson and Bruce Jamieson.

Scott Jamieson is now also the owner of Postech Saint John, a company that installs screw piles for fencing, decks, etc., in the area of central and southern New Brunswick.

Much to our shock and dismay, we had to have the house demolished in 2015 due to multiple building code violations as well as breach of contractual and professional obligations by builder Scott Jamieson, who held himself out as a Red Seal certified carpenter, and his company, Jamieson Homes and Renovations Ltd.

While we were able recoup a portion of our expenses through a court settlement with the Royal District Planning Commission, we have not received funds from our court judgment against Scott Jamieson’s company.

Part of the judgment reads:

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
Jamieson Homes and Renovations Ltd., a body corporate, pay the sum of $100,000.00 to the Defendants Gary Hammond McKay and Pamela Noreen McKay.
The records of this Court show the address of Jamieson Homes and Renovations Ltd., a body corporate, to be 1512 Route 850 Kiersteadville, New Brunswick, E5T 3L7.
DATED at Moncton, New Brunswick, this 6th day of July, 2016.

Court of Queen’s Bench of NB

We are asking Scott Jamieson, Bruce Jamieson and Jamieson Homes and Renovations Ltd. to honour this judgment as per the court’s order.
